- Who can resist a piebald bat? A new genus identified during surveys in South Sudan.
- While we are told spring is just around the corner, two pinniped visitors from the Arctic have obviously found the weather to their liking: a Walrus spent an afternoon in Orkney and a Bearded Seal is now on Shetland.
- URGENT: Vote by April 12th to protect albatrosses from longline fisheries in Namibia.
- And some news from us: after April's two successful trips to Iceland to enjoy the Northern Lights, plans are afoot for a third trip there, in November. And we're also looking at a Christmas holiday to Cyprus, to enjoy the bulbs and early orchids of the island... if either sounds of interest, please let us know.
