Well, I thought it was about time the orchids got a bit more of the limelight...
Today we headed east, to Episkopi, the temple of Apollo Hylates and the Akrotiri area.
Epipactis veratrifolia, the Eastern Marsh Helleborine at its only lowland site on the island.
Ophrys kotschyi, a perennial favourite.
Orchis fragrans just coming into flower.
and some wonderful Serapias bergonii spikes
